About the suffolk brewery
BecclesBrewCo formed on the back of two best friends (Sam Riseborough and Adam Huxtable) having a mutual love for beer. They made there first brew back in 2017 in adams garage in Beccles Town, Suffolk. The brew kit they started with was a small 40 litre kit to try and see what they were able to produce. The first brew they experimented with was a mega strong 12%abv which unfortunatley turn out to be undrinkable. This could have been said was the moment they knew that they wanted to continue brewing beer, not because of the failure but the creativity it would allow them.
In 2019 they purchased 100L system that would allow them to supply their first customer at shaddingfield fox.
More Recently they moved to their current premises in march 2020 which they are able to produce 6 core range beers including the award winning Nelsons Tree from Peterborough beer festival in 2019.
During early 2020 they came across a good problem , they were busy , none the less it became a problem that with both still working full time they couldnt keep up with demand. Soon after covid 19 happened in late march and the cask supply was up with no hospitality allowed to open. So they switch there focus to the bottle sales and this was where they found the local support boom.
In 2022 they are awaiting the new 600l system to be installed so they can focus on both bottle and cask sales.
The 6 core range include Uncle Alberts, Nelsons Tree, Hodgekin Hops, Boney Island, Paint the Town Red.
They have a very strong local following and are becoming well renowned in East Anglia too.
They produces a large amount of their beers as vegan.
Beccles Brew Co Recommend that all their beers are served at a fresh 8 °C. Pour slowly into a glass incase there is any sediment left in the bottle.
